We’ve had a lot of rain here recently. We needed it when it initially started. Now, not so much.  This is what the news showed us this morning:

Yup, more is coming! What’s worse is that they had a flood warning for our county that lasts until Sunday at 1 p.m. SUNDAY. Today is Tuesday. YIKES!

There are already roads blocked off due to high waters. Friends of ours have flooded basesments (thankfully, we do not!).

God did promise not to flood the earth again, right?!

When you spend your days (and evenings) with four small children (all four and under), you sometimes wonder what “real adults” do with their time. My husband works a LOT, so to create some breaks in our play/fight/school/clean routine, I let the kids watch too much TV. But as any mom of preschoolers knows, those shows on Nickelodeon or Noggin aren’t rocket science. Sometimes, just sometimes, I find myself wanting to scream at Steve (or Joe, depending on the episode),  that Blue left her clue right behind him. No, Steve, no one said anything about a shoe. I think Steve needs to get more than a clue!
