Evan has been potty trained for quite some time now… except at night. :/

We’ve been working on her, but I blame her preemie status for her inability to go the whole night dry. I mean, her bladder is teeny-tiny, just like the rest of her. That just has to be it, right?

Anyway, she occasionally has nights in which she’s able to keep her Pull-Up dry. On those nights, I have her put her still dry Pull-Up in her underwear drawer so she can wear it again the next night.

The other day, she was getting ready for bed and I reminded her to use one such Pull-Up. She came whining to me and said, “Mommy, I can’t wear this one ’cause it’s scratched up!”

I was confused. “Huh? Bring it here and let me see it.”

She retrieved the Pull-Up and showed me the “scratches” on this inside… They weren’t actually scratches at all, but what most adolescent boys (and my husband) would call “skid marks!”

I laughed really hard and told her to throw it away and get a clean one. At least she knew not to wear it…
