Opening Day, part 2
Andy and Brady’s coach’s wife is the league photographer… She did a GREAT job capturing so many cool moments of the day. She definitely got some better shots than I did… including some of Andy and Brady!
This is the majority of Andy and Brady’s team with two of their coaches (Nate’s the third, but he was with his T-ball team at the time.) Brady is 4th from the left, Andy is the 2nd from the right.
I thought this photo of them all running out onto the field was just too cute. I love the way they’re wearing their pantlegs high… I also love #7 and #3.
Here they are lined up during the national anthem. (I have no idea what that kid from the other team is doing in the foreground of the photo!) Brady is in the front of the line and Andy’s 4th.

Here she captured two of my cuties together in uniform! Connor keeps trying to wear his pantlegs high so his orange socks can be seen, but his legs are so skinny they keep falling.
Here’s a group shot of Nate / Connor’s team, the Orioles! Our good friend Josh is the assistant coach on the left. Nate and Josh were the only coaches to dress in full uniform, but they inspired some others who said they were going to do the same!
As part of the opening ceremonies, each team’s players get to say their names into the microphone. Here’s Connor saying his name, just as we’d practiced.

They had some hunky dreamboat sing the national anthem… Here’s a picture of that guy.
Have I mentioned that we love baseball?

It’s been a family thing to several generations, though it did skip one generation unless you count Great Aunt Ruth Ann. Yes, we count her so it is at least five generations now. Go Cubs! and Orioles and Red Sox.
