We love the library. What homeschooling mom doesn’t love a chance to read free books?!

But, oh, how I hate that the library eventually wants their books back!

I’m kidding. Sort of.

We had a family trip to the library awhile back. We checked out a stack of books. About 25, I think.

When we went to return them, I couldn’t find two of them. So, we did what everyone else would do… We returned the 23 and I renewed the others online.

The next due date came, and they still hadn’t turned up. So, I renewed them again. And then one more time. It’s been six weeks. Those books are pulling a real Anne Frank on me!

They’re due again today. I just cleaned out from under five beds (one is a set of bunk beds, so that’s technically six beds.) I looked in toy boxes… I checked in closets… hampers… Still no books! UGH!

I suppose I should call the library and make arrangements to replace them or pay for them… *sigh*  But first, any other ideas of where I should look? HELP!
