What cha think~~

I know in my own life I get bothered if I can not see the bottom of my hampers~~

Yes, I can tell you they do get old enough to do their own laundry. My son Adam has done his own laundry for years. He washes it, rotates it into the dryer, folds it, and puts it away. I hardly ever see his clothes mixed into the general mountain-o-laundry.

One of the (short-lived, I'm sure) advantages of just having bought a new washer/dryer is that EVERYONE wants to help. With the clear doors and LED lighting (even when running, if you want), I've found Kaleigh (my 4 year old daughter) standing in the laundry room entranced by the clothes being washed. It's really funny.

Please say it'll last ;-)

And, by the way: I'd say that you're not a BIG family as long as you know a family bigger than yours. I got a few on 'ya still ... and I still know a precious FEW bigger than mine (they're getting fewer and farther between, tho) ... so we're both good for a while longer!
