Birthday Bliss
Today’s my birthday. I’ve reached that point in my life when I’d rather celebrate my kids’ than my own. I don’t mind getting older though, because heck, these 6 kids had to come with time, right?
Anyway, my husband surprised me this morning by giving me a gift that’s big, shiny, sleek and RED.
Ahhh!
*Squeal!*
No, it’s not a sport’s car. 
But in my world, it’s just as good:
Isn’t she a beaut? We plan to break her in later today.

Sherri, I did NOT have a stand mixer ’til now… but have burnt out some hand versions more than once!
Heather, I did take it for a spin. More than once, actually. I’ve had it about a day-and-a-half and have already made a carrot cake, soft “mall pretzels” and pizza dough for tonight. Ahhhh….
