Tattle-Tail

We have our share of tattle-tails around here, just like anywhere else. We try to keep it to a minimum, but some things can’t be helped.

Today, little Grayson (who’s now three-months-old) was on the floor on a blanket. He was on his back, kicking his little legs and looking around.

Evan was excited to see he was alone — she wouldn’t have to share. She hovered right above his face on her hands and knees. Surprised by the sudden change of scenery, Grayson excitedly kicked his legs and flailed his arms.

Evan immediately turned to me and, in the sing-songy voice of a tattler, said, “Mom, Gwayson’s not being gentle!”

Oh, that sweetheart. What a crack up. After you all left the other night, we went through withdrawal (sp?). Seriously, they were so great and pretty much kept us in stitches the whole night. We have loved being able to get to know each of them much better. Every single one is so unique and funny and smart. And little Evan…so astute. :)

You’re too kind. :) Andy and I decided that you all need to come up again soon! We’re ready to laugh lots again!! Evan is a trip, though, isn’t she?
