Last night, we finally broke in our huge tent and camped out in the backyard. That’s a big step away from camping on the living room floor.
Believe it or not, all eight of us made it. We all woke up in the tent this morning, with only a few episodes of confusion from the girls in the middle of the night.
Trouble is, we woke up about an hour-and-a-half earlier than normal and now we’re out of energy, too. And patience.
It was worth it, though, so I’m sure it’ll happen again soon.

We just put one of our tents up in our front room today~ It was a trial run for our much needed vacation~ It was lots of fun even if it was in the house~
I had the opportunity to camp in the back country of Alaska~ That certainly was a wonderful adventure~
Keep camping even if it is in the yard~
