Progress is Her Middle Name

Really, it’s Joy… but potty training Evan has been a joy!

We started on Saturday and had her special potty day. Now, just 5 days later, she’s had no accidents all day. Yesterday was pretty much the same!

I’ve always heard that potty training girls is easier than boys and so far, I believe it. She’s younger than her brothers were when we potty trained them and she just has a greater desire to do it.

Maybe this helps:

This is her “potty train chart,” which I adapted from this one. See her riding in the train? :) She know that once she gets stickers all the way to the end, she gets a “boy baby doll, just like Gwayson!”

Anytime she has an accident, we start all over. She’s doing very well, though, so I suspect a trip to the toy store will be in our future!

PS- Why do we Mom Bloggers all think we’ll never write posts about potty-training? We should just be up front about it. We do potty train our kids and we’re proud of it! Potty-trainers unite!

Evan should reach her destination with ease if she’s anything like Mommy was (and she is just like Mommy independent and all). Chuga chuga Evan.
