Just a Little While
When I have graphic design projects to work on, the kids often enjoy playing kids’ games on Daddy’s computer while I work. Connor in particular likes to play (and is amazingly acclimated to the computer for only being 3!)
Yesterday, he followed me downstairs and when he saw me heading to the computer, (instead of the laundry machines) he said, “Mommy are you going to do work?”
“Yes,” I said.
“Just a little?”
“Yes, just a tiny bit, then we’ll go back upstairs.”
Then he got all excited. “Just a little? OK, that means a LOOOONG time, Evan! Let’s play!”
Apparently, I need to pay closer attention to whole long I work!
