Nothing Beats Fun at the Ol’ Ballpark

It’s over.

Another T-ball season, come and gone. We’re sad. Seriously, I hate to see it end. Tuesday night was the last game of the season, and it makes us all sad.

Next year, Andy will play rookies, Brady will be in his second season of T-ball, and Connor will play Junior T-ball. Grayson will watch from the sidelines for the whole season with his sisters!

Having Andy and Brady on the same team this year was so much fun! They’re quite a pair and turned more double plays than I care to admit. Seriously. We won one game 22-5, and I was starting to hope they’d drop the ball just to give the other team a chance.

They really love being out there on the field — just as much as I love watching them! I’m sure they’ll reach point in their lives when they may not want to play anymore, so we just enjoy it for now. Here are some photos from this season.

Brady at bat. He was thrilled this season
to learn that his coach was a lefty, too.
Made him much more comfortable!

Here’s the front row seats (taken before Grayson
was born.) Even our chairs were Dodger blue!
(Can you tell Evan’s favorite color is pink?!)

Andy’s really competitive.
That’s him, diving to first to get the out.

Here he is after the tag. He got the out!
He loves playing first!

    Awesome Andy. You rock!

The boy was asked what the score was. He said the other team had 20 and his team had 0. He was asked if that bothered him. He said “no way”– we haven’t been up to bat yet.

That was a joke I read quite a long time ago. It was great not to have the losing team give up.

    Thanks for all the pics.
