Big words

Having a mom who’s perpetually pregnant has made my boys a bit more aware of the goings-on of pregnancy / newborns than most kids their ages.

Sometimes.

Right after Grayson came home, the kids were all watching me change his diaper. They were very interested in why his “belly button looked yucky.”

I explained it as best I could to the six-and-under crowd. A few days later, Connor wanted to tickle Grayson. He looked at me and said, “Mommy, does Grayson still have his electical cord?”

Oh boy! Guess we needed to review… ;)

This was Grayson’s first bath at home. He didn’t enjoy it.

The children crack me up. I usually read your antics right before I go to bed and lay there thinking of what they say. I don’t know of too many newborns that enjoy their early baths. I think they feel “exposed”.
