Last Friday, I had yet another baby appointment. Two-year-old Evan watched intently as I got ready to go.

Evan: “Where you goin’ Mama?”

Me: “I have another baby appointment today… to check on Baby G.”

Evan: “She* coming out now?!” she squealed, excited.

Me: “No, not yet.”

Evan: “Oh… She sayin’ ‘just a second?’”

That girl cracks me up!

*NOTE: No, we do not know the gender of Baby G. Evan just has this idea that all babies are girls, since her baby sister Ferris is… and since all her baby dolls wear pink.
