I’m sure most of you know about the Duggars. If not (which rock are you living under?!), they’re the family in Arkansas who now have 18 biological children. They have a show on TLC (now aptly called “18 Kids and Counting”) that we watch each week. They’re a sweet family with hearts for the Lord.

In public, strangers often stop us to ask the ages of our children. Often, the follow-up question is: “Have you seen that family on TV with all those kids?” We seem to be compared to the Duggars a lot… That’s not a bad thing, but our kids each have a different letter to start their first names, while the Duggar children’s names all begin with “J.”

I digress… Brady and Andy were just watching the latest episode and came bounding down the stairs, obviously excited. “Mom!! You’ll never believe it!!” Brady was shouting.

“What?” I asked.

“We’re watching the Duggars, and guess what!! Anna is on the Mommy Team!!”

Seems the oldest Duggar child, Josh, and his wife Anna are expecting their first baby, making Jim Bob and Michelle grandparents!

Andy and Brady were literally jumping around and high-fiving each other about this exciting news. To them, nothing is better than a new baby. I love that about them.
