Bright room, big vocab

We finally got our old room painted and the girls have moved in. It’s not 100% done, so I’ll hold off on the photos for now. Just know that it’s yellow.

Very, very yellow.

We got a great deal on two matching cribs several months ago on Craig’s List. The crib set I bought after Evan was born is a gingham plaid-ish pattern accentuated with butterflies. The colors are a creamy pale yellow, salmon coral-ish, and a deep red. I know it doesn’t sound like it, but it is cute and girly.

Here’s a photo of the complete crib set. {Note: this isn’t actually my girls’ room… It’s a photo I “borrowed” from here.}

After their first night sleeping in their “new” room, I stood in there with both girls, just looking around. I asked Evan, “Did you sleep good?”

“Yups,” she said.

“Do you like your new room?” I asked.

“YEAH! It’s vewy coworful!” she said.

For two years old, the tiny girl has one big vocabulary.
