So, I’m a Little Slow…
My baby girl is now 13.5 months old. Ferris is growing up much too fast. Nate tells me she took a step to him last night, but I didn’t see it, so I’m not sure I believe him. 
Well, after about six weeks, I thought maybe I’d get around to sharing her birthday photos. You know, the ones from the beginning of March. I told you I’m a slacker Mom. At least she’s still cute.

We all enjoyed some traditional first Birthday party taco salad (what? That’s not a tradition in your house? It should be!) then had some cake.
She seemed to really enjoy the attention…
She also liked that big brother Brady was among those singing to her!
Mostly, she enjoyed the cake. 
Isn’t she lovely? Gorgeous blue eyes and those natural curls. We’re so happy she’s ours. We love you Hopey!

It’s tradition around here to have their baby dedication on the Sunday closest to their first birthday. Since our families live about two hours away, I make taco salad and put the hot stuff in crock pots for a big meal after lunch. It’s an odd first birthday meal, but it works well!

I love it! I’m all for birthday taco salad. I always eat too much of it, but I have never regretted it.:) It’s too good.
