Slacker Mom
I know, I know… I’ve been a slacker.
This pregnancy has hit me with a myriad of pregnancy-related symptoms, one after another and many often repeated. The last few weeks has introduced exhaustion mixed with many other not-so-fun issues. I’m not complaining (except to my husband — who patiently listens, then ignores,) just giving you my absence excuse. It’ll all be worth it in a couple more months, right?
Just to keep everyone up-to-date on our progress: “Baby G” is now 29 weeks and 4 days “old.” He or she is about 10.6 inches in length is crown to rump and weighs about 2.8-3.1 pounds. (For the record, that’s about what Evan weighed at birth!) We have another baby appointment on Monday, and then we start going every two weeks. I can’t believe how fast this is flying!
In related news, “Baby G” still does not have a name — if he’s a boy. We’re completely settled on a girl’s name, and have been for a long time. We can’t seem to agree on a boy’s name, however. The couple Nate likes, I don’t and vice versa. This may be the biggest disagreement we’ve had!
Hopefully we can work out some sort of compromise in the near future. Your suggestions are still welcome.

Well I hope your pregnancy gets better! And I also hope that you get to have your way with the name!
Have a great day!

Could someone make this a little more simple? 2.8-3.1 pounds Is it 2 1/2 pounds,3.1 ounces? Thanks

I think 2.8 pounds is a little more than 2 pounds, 12 ounces (which is what Evan weighed at birth.) 3.1 pounds would be about 3 pounds, 1.5 ounces. Confusing, huh? I think I’m right, but then again, it’s 1:30 in the morning and I have Mommy Brain. I’m probably wrong.
