My dreamy husband Nate and I were made for each other. While one of is smart, the other is smarter… When one of us is goofy, the other is goofier.

We were just discussing the idea of taking up the carpet in our living room due to the discovery of Brady’s allergy to dust mites. (The living room is the only room in our house that has carpet, but it’s probably been there for 10+ years at least.) 

We’re 99% sure there’s hardwood under it since the rest of the main floor has hardwood.

“Wouldn’t it be funny if we’ve hesitated this long and we pulled the carpet up and it was nice, pretty hardwood?” I mused. (The rest of the hardwood needs refinished. It’s pretty scratched up.)

“Yeah,” Nate agreed.

“What will we do if we tear up the carpet and there’s a chalk outline under it?!” I joked.

“Well, laminate flooring is on sale for 79 cents a square foot…” he answered.

See what I mean? Goofy and goofier.
