The Card that Pays You Back

Remember when Andy was so excited to get a library card for his birthday (way back in December?)

We headed off to the library yesterday as a family, since Nate had a rare morning off. Andy was so giddy to use his card. He kept asking to hold it, I kept declining. (I just didn’t want him to lose it. I let him have it right before we checked out.)

In the van on the way over, Andy told Brady, “Brady, you can pick out whatever book you want and I’ll buy it for you. You can even get lots of books!”

Sweet boy takes pride in his role as big brother. He, in fact, checked out a total of 22 books for the kids to share.
