Feelin’ the Love
Yesterday, I did something I’d never done before.
No, I didn’t find the bottom of the laundry pile or the bottom of my kitchen sink. This was much, much more fun.
I received my first bloggy award:
“The Lemonade Award is for blogs with attitude/gratitude.” Here are the other “rules” for the Lemonade Award:
1. Put the logo on your blog or post.
2. Nominate blogs which show great Attitude and/or Gratitude!
3. Link to your nominees within your post.
4. Let them know that they have received this award by commenting on their blog.
5. Share the love and link to this post and to the person from whom you received your award.
I’m loving the fact that someone thought my blog has attitude/gratitude. I don’t even really care what they meant by that. And I’ll try really hard to refrain from mentioning that she who bestowed such an honor on me is actually my sister-in-law, so she has to pretend she likes me, right? She writes over at Stoplights, so check her out sometime soon. Her writing and photography will blow you away. It’s much more profound than potty training and stain removal.
OK, I’m supposed to pass along the goodness. I’m going to pour some Lemonade love onto:
Stacey at Avery Soup for My Soul
I know that’s only one, but it’s a goody. Stacey is my friend in real life (though we haven’t seen each other in about 7.5 years!) and she and her family are going through the turbulent — but fun – ride to adoption. I’ve enjoyed watching her grow as a sister in Christ over the past few years, and I also enjoy hearing about the antics of her four-year-old daughter Avery. Check her out soon. You won’t be disappointed!

Christa, you know that if I had known about such a thing I would have nominated you a loooooong time ago. That is so exciting.
Is that Heather? Whoever did it is very observant.
It is nearly 1:30 am and I’m off to bed after I click on the Breast Cancer icon.
