For having just turned two, Evan talks a LOT. She has a pretty big vocabulary and, for the most part, speaks very clearly.

Last night, she did the forbidden again and climbed inside the dog food container. I think she imagines it to be her own personal sandbox with enormous pieces of sand. She digs, scoops and dumps. Unfortunately, much of the dog food often ends up on the floor and she always comes out smelling like dog food — a smell that I can’t stand, pregnant or not.

Nate had retrieved her and scolded her and she was bawling. He was holding her on his lap and pretty much ignoring her whimpering. Slowly, she calmed herself down and then looked up at her Daddy and said, “Daddy, I all done fussin’ now.”

Silly girl.
