Too Smart
My kids love it when I record movies for them. I record them to our DVR… they watch them over and over again for about a week or so… then I delete them. Works well for us.
The other day, I recorded “Beethoven’s 5th.”It’s one in a series of movies about a giant St. Bernard and the dog caper antics that ensue in every kid / dog movie. Cute and innocent. They loved it.
While watching it, a commercial came on that said “‘Beethoven’s 3rd’ … up next!!” Andy got all excited.
I teased, “You can’t do that, buddy. You can’t watch them out of order. Three comes before five!”
Andy was about to argue when three-year-old Connor piped up from across the room and corrected me, “No, Mommy, three comes before four!”

what would we do without our DVRs? we’ll see an advertisement for a movie and Avery will grab the remote and say “Mommy, let’s record that one!” I still remember when a VCR was new!! When did we get so old???
BTW: how are you feeling these days?

Stacey, We are getting old, aren’t we?! My kids found a cassette tape in the basement recently and asked what it was! :O
I’m doing OK… All in all, I’m starting to have more good days than bad. I’m “only” getting sick about 3-4 times a week now! That’s a drastic improvement to every day.

I still have a cassette tape called “Antshillvania” I received for my birthday when I was 8. The kids play it and play it and play it. I’m going to need to move it over to a CD soon, or it’ll be ruined. I just think it’s hilarious how old that thing is and it’s still going. This year would make that cassette about 22 yrs. old.
Now that I think about it, your kids would love it, too.
I wonder what copyright laws are like for cassettes that old? hmmm.;)
