I just thought of Glock. It’s a gun that police officer’s use, but it sure sounds tough… Then our son could be Glock Schrock. Kidding!

ok, now it’s a sad thing when two middle aged people are so lacking of a life of their own that they sit around in the evening thinking up names for someone else’s child! Having said that, Mike and I made this a challenge this evening and came up with some names. Now keep in mind that after a while we started getting silly (that’s when we realized we need to stop)
Here’s what we came up with:

Grayson or Gracen
If you like the nickname Gilly you could go with Gillespie or Gilbert
Glaxton
Golden (I really did know a guy with that name)
Gorden- could be called Gordy
Gibson- Gibby
Gatton
Gambol
Grabill
Granville (don’t forget the wonderful Granville Wells school)
The last three were my hubby’s suggestions. And because he is such a doofus he thinks it’s too bad that your last name isn’t Speel because he likes the name Glakin.

I promise, this is the last I will bug you, but it has been fun. Oh, and I like the name Joseph as a second name with some of these. I’m sure whatever you decide to name your next little gift from God will be wonderful.

Your mom’s cousin Deb here. I’ve never left you a comment but love reading your blogs!
I also love coming up with baby names. Gideon and Gabriel have already been suggested (both good Biblical names) but I like the name Griffen too. Two syllables, starts with a G, would sound good being yelled from baseball bleachers (Run, Griff, run)…
You have 6 months to come up with a name, take your time. In the mean time I’ll be whispering each and every night, “Griffen, Griffen, Griffen…”

I’m gonna be a brutally honest sister, here. I went back and read all the rules for baby naming you put in a post last year….? Good grief, girl. How in the world am I going to win….ever? I’m going to be posting so many names you’re going to get sick of me.

So here goes. My first official selections are Galen, Gareth, Gannon, or Gregory. For a boy, that is.

Or, since the other kids love the movie, Cars, how about Guido?:)

Girls names are so hard. How about Gwendolyn? Gwen or Gwyn for short? I don’t know that I have ever heard of a Gwen in a soap opera.

I think Andy’s original suggestion of Gator is a good one. After all we did have the Crocodile Hunter why not Gator, you know Tater’s son.

I hate coming up with baby names. Maybe we should have done something like you did. With Stephen and Hannah we could not come up with a boys name. Stephen was born before we came up with a middle name. I like Grace as a name for a girl but if you don’t use it maybe we will use it some time also I have a brother named Gideon.
