One of Those Days
So, while I was nursing Ferris earlier today, Evan decided to play in the (expensive, gluten-free) flour. She had it all over the floor in the kitchen and all over herself.
Her PJs, which had been red, were a pale pink. Her hair was white. Her eyelashes were white. She made a paste in the bathtub.
I wish I was kidding.
Just a few minutes ago, I was again nursing Ferris and guess what… Evan didn’t disobey. She did not play in the flour again.
No, sirry….
This time, she played in the sugar. Grrr.
I’m thinking of throwing a few eggs on the flour and maybe a handful of chocolate chips. Then, if we slide around in it, it will taste like cookie dough, right?
Too bad I cleaned up the flour earlier.
This, too, shall pass, right?

Count me in for the Floor Cookies. I’m a firm believer in the 5-hour Rule, anyway.

I’m sure your Mom told you that there would be days like this. Keep reminding yourself that you LOVE your children, no matter what. You might have to repeat it 500 times tho.

I am glad I am not the only one who has a kid that destroys everything when I am feeding the baby! I think they know it is harder for us to get up and stop them.

For the record, she played in the flour a second time after she was supposed to be in bed. Finally learning from my mistakes, my flour and sugar canisters are now located on top of the fridge. Ugh.

Nana to the rescue, one gallon glass pickle jars with screw on lids come up Monday. Thank the Lord she hasn’t yet, learned to unscrew the lids.

Oh, yes… she has! She takes the lids off and dumps them out. That’s whyI had to move them. That’s how she got in the sugar.
