Super Smell
My Connor has a strong sense of smell. He’s always saying, “Mommy, I smell somepin. What’s dat smell?”
Today, I was finishing up schoolwork with Andy when Connor started in again. “Mommy, I smell somepin.”
“What do you smell?” I asked.
Then he answered with all the wisdom of a three-year-old boy whose big brother has allergies: “Smell like gluten.”
Boy, is he a good smeller! I didn’t know wheat protein had a scent.
