Seven
My friend Stacey (who blogs at Avery Soup for my Soul tagged me for this little survey. You’re supposed to reveal seven random things about yourself that others may not know. This could get interesting…
1. If given the choice between chocolate and carmel, I would choose carmel 100% of the time. Chocolate’s still good, though.
2. My husband and I have named our children in alphabetical order. Really. You know those people that name their kids names that all start with the same letter? That’s not us. We’ve always known we want a large family, so we tried to make it easy on people by starting with A and working our way down.
3. While I was in college, I worked as a camp counselor at a Bible camp. My second summer there, my “cabin” was a tent strapped to a raft that was on a lake. We slept in hammocks. I wore lots of bug spray that summer.
4. My college required two physical education classes. I chose archery and tae kwon do. 
I wish I still had the time and place to do archery. It was incredibly challenging yet relaxing.
5. I’m married to a police officer. I’m also married to a helicopter pilot. I’ve gotten sick every time I’ve flown… because I’ve been pregnant every time. 
6. It will sound strange, but one of my favorite things to drink is what my husband calls a “Combo.” It’s half Dr. Pepper and half Mountain Dew. Sounds gross, huh? It’s not at all. I don’t drink coffee.
7. My three sons were all born at home, in our dining room, in a swimming pool. Our fourth baby earned me a helicopter ride to a Chicago hospital because she was impatient and two months early. All five of my children were delivered without medication. As I’ve said before though “That doesn’t make me brave or anything. That just gives me license to squeeze my husband’s hand harder than those of you who were medicated.” I have issues of letting go of control.
