Rain on our Parade
We are blessed to live in an area of the state that has a plethora of great parks. There are so many neighborhood playgrounds and giant county parks that we’ve been sort of “touring” them all summer to find the best ones.
Yesterday, we went to a new one, which Brady now calls the purple one. (As I said before, he differentiates parks by the color of their playground equipment!)
Unfortunately for us, we’re now in the middle of several days of rain bequeathed to us by Hurricane Ike (or maybe one of his cousins. I’m getting them all mixed up.)
I recently taught the boys the ol’ “Rain, Rain, Go Away” song. Remember that one?
I’m not quite sure Connor got it all. This morning he was meandering through the kitchen singing, “Rain, rain, go away. Come again some Mother’s Day.”
If Mother’s Day 2009 is rainy, please forward all complaints to Connor Stephen “Bo.”
