As part of our Bible subject in school today, the boys and I read the section of Genesis including the fall of Adam and Eve.

They know what sin is and have no problem understanding that part (I wonder why!), but they had one question they kept asking me over and over:

“Mommy, how did the Double* get into the snake?!”

*The Double is their term for Devil. I keep correcting them and they’re slowly getting it, but it still cracks me up.

Anyway, how in the world do you explain anthropomorphism to 4 and 5 year olds?!
