I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to answer your comment. Yes! I did make your Monster Cookies…and they are awesome!!! While I was making them, my husband showed up unannounced with his co-worker who is unsaved. We’ve been trying to reach him for over a year now. He is also single and a health nut. He raved over the smell of home baked cookies so I gave him several fresh from the oven just to see if he liked them. He could hardly believe how good they were, especially when I told him they were allergen-free! He was so was surprised and grateful when I gave him a bagful to take home. ( He was hesitant until I showed him how much dough I had left. They make a lot more than I thought they would with only 1/2 cup of oil.) He is much more open today than he was even six months ago, and every little effort makes a big difference it seems.

I used coconut oil as a substitute, and they were the perfect combination of crispy and chewy fresh from the oven. When they cooled, they were almost flaky. YUM!! Thanks for sharing.

whatever it is, Avery has it too. We’ve recently started the whining as well and a lot of bargaining attempts when she is told to do something. Tonight we told her it was time for bed. She wanted to watch the Colts game for “one more minute” we told her no, it was time for bed. Her response was: “How about two minutes, then?” Wrong way, babe!! Glad to know we’re not the only ones going through this fun phase

You are doing so great. Just wait…just when you think they don’t hear you or they are never going to break a habit, they indicate they’ve heard you all along. It’s so true that God will not allow His Word to return void. I’ll be praying for you. And pray for us…we’re dealing with exactly the same thing with one of ours.
