Talent

My sister-in-law is so talented. Not only can she make homemade non-dairy ice cream for my Brady that is oh-so-yummy, but she’s also got a keen eye for photography. We were with them this weekend and she took some snapshots of my girls.

She promised to send me a few, so I thought they’d be good… but I had no idea they’d be incredible! Check these out:

That’s my nearly six-month-old Ferris,
flashing her killer smile.

 

And here, my wild child Evan looks
so sweet and innocent, doesn’t she?

 

I may be biased, but isn’t that photo gorgeous?

I’m not sure whose hand that is Ferris
is holding, but I know it’s one of her
grandparents. Too precious, isn’t it?

So, thank you, thank you, thank you, Auntie Heather. “You rock.” :)

    I am so glad you like them!

    There was no pain involved…I mean, look at those faces! I actually had to tell myself to stop or they are going to grow up thinking Auntie Heather has a huge, black, cyclops eye.

    Thank you for your comment on my blog. To answer your question, NO, I do not keep my house clean 24/7. LOL I know it is possible because I’ve lived with it that way for days and weeks on end in fits and bursts, but people are more important than things and life throws you curve balls….hard and often. :) My mantra when it comes to having it clean house, and a perfect life in general, is “I plan, and God laughs.” :) What I was saying is that I know how to keep it that way. Most of the time I can be ready for company within 15 minutes, but by and large I lack the discipline needed to carry out what I know. :/

    I’m so glad I found your site! Do you mind if I link to it?

    BTW ~ I don’t have it posted on my blog for some reason? but, we’re independent, Baptists, too. :) Praise the Lord for kindred spirits! You’ve been an encouragement to me.
