BTS Bummer
Is anyone else bummed to see this little header on the top of Yahoo’s page?
We officially start homeschooling our oldest child this fall. I have to admit, I’m overwhelmed and scared. I suppose that’s good. It makes me lean on God that much more for His wisdom, patience and creativity!
Even so, I realize that this is the first in a loooong line of back-to-schools for us. Daunting, isn’t it?

I remember that feeling a couple of years ago. Wow. That first year is all about figuring out your style and making adjustments. Just remember that Andy will get his work done in record time because of the lack of recess and volume of students. It will seem surreal how swiftly he finishes and gets on with his day.
Quite honestly? What I have observed about your parenting style is that they have already been going to school all this time, they just may not have had official books. You are already a great teacher…they are well-informed and smart boys.
So, there you go. Have at it! You’ll be great!
