I just have one question to ask … and I know it is going to be hard for Cubs fans to answer since it has been so long since they’ve been to the World Series, but:
Who won last time the Cubs played the White Sox in the World Series?

Aramis Ramirez is going to be chomping at the bit all week to play the White Sox again this coming weekend. 4 homers and 8 RBIs in a three game series. That’s a hot bat.

Drew, Ramirez is one of Brady’s favorite players because they were the same number. Of course, 16 in Brady covered his whole back… but still.

I LOVE the broom. Do we have a disgrundled SOX fan among us? I also laughed over the new lyrics. Kids. Love ‘em. If anybody is interested the Fiddler’s Gathering is this weekend at Battleground, In. Their website is IndianaFiddlersGathering.org. It is really neat. We’ll just take in Sat.

Yeah Matt, but who has the most loyal fans?
We are also soooo patient. Just ask Christa how patient her Mom is. She recently claimed she was not aware that I knew how to spank so lightly. I told her she was my child and those are my grandkids. There is a definate difference.

Nana, it is true that we find ourselves paying more attention to the grands than our kids. I think we worry more too. They say that grands are our reward for raising our children. Every once in awhile I say, “I don’t remember ever letting you do that.” But of course I did.

Where is your broom now?
Oh, and as for fan patience … that is one of the reasons the Cubs haven’t won anything recently. The fans show up and drink beer no matter what. Team management makes $$$ and there is no incentive to put a good team on the field.
