Permanent Resssidency
Apparently, my visitor has decided to stay.
That slithery “friend” I found last week was there again today when I got the lawn mower out. I sent him a very quick greeting and got out of there.
Here’s my question. Do all snakes hiss or just the poisonous ones? ‘Cause he greeted me right back.
Also, can a lawn mower be used as a weapon of self defense? I only wish it was already started.
As it stands now, he has had all his calls forwarded to the area around our shed and I’m steering clear. The rest of the lawn is nicely mowed, but I called Nate today to tell him he gets to mow around that area. I have enough little friends.
Nate agreed to try to get the snake to move on, but I’m sure it’s already had its mail forwarded.

Oh Christa, what an amusing way you have. I thought so much of the pony tail I sent it to Idaho to our youngest daughter. I made sure Sue saw it also.
Now, as for your “visitor” I don’t know what snakes do about the hissing but the grass could get 3 feet tall and you wouldn’t find me there or anywhere within 100 feet. Even if I had to have the grass cutting hired out that would be okay with me.

Maybe Nate could capture it and you could “relocate” him to a fine new home with a view of the woods!!!!
