He’s No Genie
Brady was playing Starfall on the other computer this morning while I was doing some graphic design work.
He said, “Mommy, look! It’s a girl genius.” His tone was sort of surprised, like he’d never before heard of a girl being a genius.
I was about to lecture him about how girls can be smart, too. I turned around to speak to him and realized that the image on the screen was that of a genie, not a genius!
Just as I opened my mouth, he corrected himself. “Oh, I mean genie… not genius.”
Apparently he’s neither.

Well yes he is a genius. He’s Nana’s genius. He’s also Nana’s comedian. He had me rolling last night on the phone. I don’t remember the conversation but I kept telling him he was silly, as I laughed. I also told him I really love him, which he found silly.
