Guess who’s having a special birthday!
Someone special is turning out to be a whole handful today. Can you guess who?
Andrew Joseph is now five years old! He enjoyed a mini-birthday party with some church friends yesterday (one of their daughters was turning two).
Connor had lots of fun, too… even though he really missed his nap time and confessed “I sweepy.”

Yes, it’s hard to believe my little Andy isn’t so little anymore. Five years ago, our world changed forever. Definitely for the better.
This morning, Andy woke up and came in my room. I hugged him tight and told him “Happy Birthday, Handsome.”
He said, “Mommy, stop!”
I tried to talk him out of turning five, but because T-ball is a rite of passage now, he justified, “I can still snuggle you, even though I’m five!”
A little while later he asked me, “Mommy, am I five now?” When I confirmed it, he said, “When’s my baseball game?!”
Our crazy little boy is getting so big and learning so much. We love you, Hoss. May you always be a knight in shining armor to your Mamma and baby sister — even if she did sleep through your party.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDY!

Happy Birthday, again. Andy told me last night on the phone I couldn’t tell him happy birthday again because I had already said it once in the conversation and “you’re not supposed to say it more than once”. I then proceeded to repeat the phrase twice in a row to prove him wrong. I told him we were just wanting him to have the best birthday.
I was on the phone with him for over a half hour. When I asked to speak to Mom he said, “Well, you can when we are done talking, ok?” Finally about ten minutes later Mom was allowed to talk to me. Yes, he’s related to Nana and her side of the family.
