How do you spell relief?

With Nate working so much these past few weeks — even while on “vacation” — I’m happy to say that Nana is on her way here as I type!

See, Nana and I have a little understanding. She knows I often don’t get “trivial” things like deep cleaning my house done when I have four underfoot and design deadlines looming. So, we she’s able to come for a weekend visit, her job is to play with the kids so I can clean!

I know it’s pathetic, but it works.

And just for the record, my laundry is almost already caught up. It’s just my dishes that are a different story. :D

I’m glad for Nana. What would any of us do without Nana? And although I’m glad YOU have Nana for this weekend, I get her for next weekend. She can babysit me while the kids clean the house. Yay! It’s a plan!

Nana didn’t just entertain the kids, she found a whole lot more laundry for Mom to do.

I sometimes feel like the Calvery but after a couple of days with my sweet grandkids I feel like Mommy and Daddy deserve a pat on the back.

My favorite comment came Sat. evening while all four of the little ones sat at the resturant and a group came by noticing the shirt I had on (yes the one I bought myself) that said “World’s Greatest Nana” and one of the ladies did a quick count “1-2-3-4″ She then commented “You will go to heaven for sure.”

No, the only way to get to heaven is though Jesus Christ, just ask Andy, he can tell you.
