Nuggo
Do any other families out there have words that pretty much all of your children have used — incorrectly pronounced?! We do!
The past few mornings, Connor comes in and climbs into Nate’s side of the bed after Nate has left. He wiggles past the middle over to whatever scrap of my pillow he can get and says, “I nuggo you, Mommy?”
In our house, “nuggo” has been the preferred pronunciation of snuggle for all three boys. It eventually gets corrected, but they’ve all gone through that phase.
I’m sure there are other words like it, but I’m too sleepy right now to think of more. All that early morning nuggoing with a squirmy little boy wears me out.
