We’re on a roll tonight. Here’s another recent conversation:
Andy: “Mom, Brady needs his [bed] rail up.”
Me: (knowing full well that Brady does not need his bed rail anymore. He’s never fallen out of bed…) “No, he doesn’t.”
Andy: “Yes, he does.”
Me: “Why?”
Andy: “He needs it so his Doodle Pad won’t fall out of his bed.”

Connor has been walking around the house most of the day in Andy’s tennis shoes. They are literally 5-and-a-half sizes too big for him, but he loves his big brother and does what he can to be like him. Andy noticed tonight and our conversation went like this:

I survived the slumber party. The girls were nice to me, so I didn’t get flogged for going to sleep around midnight. That’s love. I have some fun photos to post, but my husband is away and has the camera. Maybe later.
