Drumroll, please!

I recently said I had a big announcement to make… so for all of you far off friends, here it is: We’re expecting again! YIPPEE!!

As many of you know, we absolutely love children and want lots, so we are thrilled. The baby is due in the middle of March. So far, everything looks great. I just entered my 13th week of pregnancy. Please pray things go smoothly. :)

We’ve tried to be somewhat unique in announcing it to our families each time. At this point, they pretty much expect that I’m pregnant all the time (which isn’t too far from the truth.) Here is a copy of the card we sent to our family members:

(This was the outside of the card…)

(Here’s what the inside said….)

Also, on the inside of each card, I taped one pink and one blue balloon to get the celebration started. Everyone got a kick out of them.

If Nate and I don’t get creative soon, we may have to have a contest to name this kid. :)

Picture if you will, a little girl say three or four years old sitting in the bathroom doing little girls do while sitting in the bathroom. But this little girl has her elbows on her knees and her chin resting on her palms while she sings “On the road again, just can’t wait to get on the road again…”. Well that little girl grew up to be the Mommy of A, B, C, D (who is now in heaven) E, and now F.

I’d say she is definately on the Road Again!

I love them all, the more the merrier. God never gives us more than we can handle.

Nana says: “God never gives us more than we can handle.”

How True! How often do we assume that we know what we need (or don’t need) and God gives us exactly the thing, (or the lack), or the person we need to refine us.

Hey, I’m not saying that this was His intent for Baby F! Psalms says Children are an heritage of the Lord! And He obviously knows that your family will be blessed by the presence of another little one. Congratulations!

All I have to say is “yiiiiipppppeeeeeeee!”

Concerning the whole “on the road again” thing. Christa and I have more in common than I realized. I couldn’t quit laughing. You and I, Christa, could genuinely go “on the road”!

*When are you guys going to finally admit to all of us that you have known all along you were going to call this new child Frankincense? Huh? Huh?

  4. Rose Says:

    Congratulations!!!!

I am excited about baby F…..any name ideas yet. Maybe we could call it baby Fart…..or Feet. =)

  5. christa Says:

DARLENE ROSE. This is precisely the reason you earned the name “Meany Darleny!” :P

I was pretty excited at your announcement yesterday. So much so that I forgot to add my (our) CONGRATULATIONS to you and your family.

Have you told the boys yet? Tell us how they reacted. (If you want)

    Take care, Bob and Sharon
