Just for fun, or as a means to pass some time, drop a bar of soap into the bathtub when a less-than-two-year-old is taking a bath. When my older two were younger, they’d spend 20-30 minutes chasing it around the tub… never quite being able to pick it up. It’s just too slippery.

Last night’s fun was much less intentional. We’d neared the end of a bar of soap and that little leftover sliver was about 2″ by 1″. It found its way into the water. Connor chased that little thing all over the tub like a boy chasing a tiny frog in some mud. He splished and splashed until I made him get out. It’s hilarious to watch, too.

Give it a try. Just remember to rinse your child off really good afterwards or he or she will slip right out of your hands when getting out.
