Kidspeak
Sometimes, kids have interesting thought processes that lead them to use words in very interesting ways. You can tell — just by listening to them — that it’s not just a typical mispronunciation. They really think they’ve got this whole English thing figured out, right?
Here’s what I mean. When Andy and Brady were younger (you know, last year), they thought that everyone had a “no,” as in the singular form of nose.
I recently caught Connor doing the same thing! THEN, just last night, I asked Brady to pick up some dirty clothes that didn’t quite make it into the basket. His response? “I don’t see a dirty clo’, Mom.” Apparently “clo” is the singular of clothes.
Consider yourself in the know now.

That is so cute! My oldest son used to think that shoes were called “shoesons” as in get your “shoes on” Garrett - and so the plural is naturally to just add an s to the end right?! ( : Oh and yes - socks were then of course “socksons”!
Thanks for visiting my blog - my kids have quickly become huge Alton Brown fans - they beg to watch more!
I love your blog! Very cute!
Warmly,
Mandi
