WFMW: Getting Kids to Clean

One of the blogs I’ve read for a long time, Rocks in My Dryer, hosts a weekly “Works for Me Wednesday” in which bloggers add their tips for life. Be sure to check it out here for many other great ideas.

I thought I’d jump in this week and add my two cents. Here it is.

As you can imagine, our house is often a mess and much more so if I don’t stay on top of things. Then, getting the kids to help clean is never easy. So, I thought of this.

It’s nothing revolutionary, but it helps because we have three large picture windows and a glass door. So, this Kid Cleaner bottle is filled with nothing but water. Give one of the boys a paper towel and they’ll squirt and wipe all day long. They fight over who gets to do it! And that kind of fighting works for me. :D

And it’s non-toxic, too! Great idea!

BTW, I love your clever blog title.

Thanks, Barbara! Yes… you’re right. It _is_ non-toxic, which helps if one of the kids should “accidently” squirt his brother. :) It also works well for table tops, appliance fronts and cabinets. Walls, too. It’s great!
