True love

I know I’ve been posting a lot, but as I said before, my kids crack me up. They just keep saying things I want to remember. For instance…

The boys are having an afternoon snack since our dinner will be a late one tonight. Andy gingerly came to me and asked very politely, “Mommy, can I have a ginger ale?”

He knows this would be a treat, so I gave him a condition: “Yes, but you must share it with Connor and Brady.”

“I will, Mommy.” He quickly agreed. Then he sweetly added, “I love you, Mommy.”

I tried to act surprised and I said, “You do? Wow!”

He quickly justified: “Well, I love flying in the helicopter with Daddy, too.”

Gee, thanks. :P

Just think Mom, you’re the one that carried them for nine months, well, except our little girl, Evan, who was seven months, and they think riding in a helicopter with Daddy for a few minutes is great!!! It really is neat though, the ride in the helicopter that is. I never told my Mom carrying me around for those nine months either.
